Fulfilling its mandate to provide and advance primary health care for Ligaoeños, the City Government of Ligao, headed by Hon. Patricia Gonzalez-Alsua, signed a memorandum of agreement with Barangays Cavasi, Catburawan, and Nasisi, represented by Lanet P. Pago, Hon. Melquiades T. Bellen, Jr., and Hon. Jurlan N. Buello, respectively, for the implementation of the Community-Based Feeding Program for Malnourished Children.

The program, which will be exclusive for the three barangays with the highest malnutrition rates and functional communal gardens, will run for 120 days from October 2017 to January 2018.

Through this nutritional intervention program, food and multivitamins will be distributed to address and supplement the nutritional and dietary requirements of the children to prevent and alleviate malnutrition.
