Intensifying the Law Enforcement and Implementation on Solid Waste Management in Ligao, the City Government of Ligao headed by Mayor Patricia Gonzalez Alsua, through its Pollution Control and Management Division – Solid Waste Management Section, held its 3rd Quarterly Board Meeting on 03 November 2017, at the Office of the Mayor, Ligao City Hall, Ligao City.

The agenda of the said meeting includes Updates on ESWM Implementation in Barangays and Schools, Strengthening Law Enforcement and Reports relative to garbage collection and segregation, and other programs to address improper waste disposal.

The city government has been instituting dynamic efforts to attain a cleaner and safer environment through the Information Education Communication (IEC) materials, public forums, trainings and seminars on Informal Waste Integration Project and Solid Waste Management, clean-up drives and strict monitoring of compliance on the Anti-Plastic and ESWM Ordinance.
