To Facilitate segregated collection of solid waste and comply with the mandates of Republic Act 9003 at the barangay level, the City Government of Ligao thru the leadership of Hon. Mayor Patricia Gonzalez-Alsua distributed motorized tribikes to 7 pilot barangays namely Dunao, Sta.Cruz, Guilid, Bagumbayan, Tinago, Binatagan and Calzada… Said vehicles will be used for the collection of wastes from households to barangay MRFs prior to the collection of the City Dump truck.

The mentioned barangays will soon conduct their own segregated collection.
