We, the City Treasurer’s Office, a dynamic department, providing prompt and effective service through enhanced Tax Revenue and Collection System and innovative treasury operations ensuring client satisfaction with competent, motivated, gender-responsive and God-centered personnel, responsive to the needs of the citizens and achieving a self-reliant City of Ligao.
To implement effectively and efficiently the mandate specifically provided under the Local Government Code and other ordinances, policies and regulations governing Treasury Operation.
- To be able to collect local revenues to fully support the yearly budgetary requirements.
- To collect, safeguard and disburse funds entrusted by law or other competent authority in accordance with the existing laws, rules, and regulations.
- To render report and advise the City Mayor, Sanggunian, and other local officials regarding disposition of the government funds and on such matters relative to public finance.
- To maintain and update the tax information system of Ligao City and formulate collection strategies.

(While the applications are being assessed, the applicants are advised to proceed to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for the Business Tax Assessment Documents. City Treasurer personnel will be the one to deliver the documents to BFP for Assessment of Fire Fund Fees)
